Rose Parade 2016: ‘Sweet Shenanigans’ abound on Cal Poly Universities’ float entry
Cal Poly Universities' has chosen their 68th float entry, "Sweet Shenanigans," for the 127th Tournament of Roses Parade on New Year's Day. The float features giant whimsical gummy bears sledding down a mound of ice cream, playing with snowball-like candy, teetering on a s´mores sled, and other bears ice skating, waving and ice-fishing. Rose Parade 2015: 39 floats announced
The Tournament of Roses Association has announced the 39 float entries that will participate in the 126th Rose Parade presented by Honda, themed “Inspiring Stories” on Jan. 1. Replica of Space Shuttle Endeavour to roam Pasadena during Rose Parade
Endeavour — the fifth and final NASA shuttle to be built — will once again traverse the streets of Los Angeles County. But this time, it’ll be much smaller than the one that awed spectators in October 2012. A replica of the orbiter will headline Los Angeles’ Rose Parade float, “Endless Entertainment.”

San Gabriel couple to ride eHarmony's 'Everlasting Love' Rose Parade Float
The Kenton Wong and Sally Yeh will be on the Rose Parade’s first dot-com float, “Everlasting Love” by eHarmony. Six other couples — including Jenny Rodriguez and Rodrigo Granero, from Los Angeles, and Barbara and Walter Smith, from Newport Beach — will accompany them. Grammy Award-winning artist Natalie Cole and eHarmony founder Neil Warren will also ride on the Jan. 1 float. A wine-themed float will debut in the Rose Parade
Stella Rosa Wines’ float will be the first time a wine-themed float will drive down Colorado Boulevard as part of the Rose Parade, according to the company. KC and the Sunshine Band, known for hits like “That’s the Way (I Like It)” and “(Shake, Shake, Shake) Shake Your Booty,” will be featured on the float, which will be themed “Stellabrate Good Times.” (10/20/2013) Courtesy of Pasadena Star News.

Budweiser float, Clydesdales will return to the Rose Parade
The Budweiser Clydesdales will trot down Colorado Boulevard once more. After pulling out of the Rose Parade in 2012, the St.Louis-based brewer of the “King of Beers” has decided to return to the parade. Farmers Insurance cancels Rose Parade wedding contest, will honor teachers instead
Farmers Insurance announced that it would be changing the theme for its float after launching its “Picture Perfect Weddings Contest” the previous week. The contest, where three couples were to be married atop a float as it sailed down Colorado Boulevard during the parade, has been canceled. The float will now honor teachers.
